Just watched the Dale Earnhardt Jr. news conference and he will be driving for Hendrick in 2008

You can't knock the record at Hendrick, 2 of the top winning drivers in NASCAR says they are on track to win. I would have preferred Dale Sr.s team (Childress sp?) but hey, whatever works.

YEeeeees! Dale is finally where he should be, in a good car with good support.
I'm a Gordon fan, but I've always liked Jr. so I'm excited to see him come aboard.
And Hendrick dominated ever after.

I've never been a big Gordon or Johnson fan, but I've never been able to find a reason to dislike either one of them either. My wife hates Gordon, yet she can't find an exact reason why. I talked to a friend here at work who just got back off vacation visiting relatives in NC and one of them has a job where he deals with most all the NASCAR teams. He told my friend that Jeff is one of the most friendliest guys he's ever met and talks like he's just a regular guy. He also said Harvick is one of the worst and is really stuck on himself. He was saying that Dale Jr. is a great guy to be around and likes to party with his buddies around town when he's there. I do admit one thing,,,, even the worst driver in NASCAR is better than most of us could ever be. I can't help but think that you really need to race from the time you're a kid in order to do it well.
One thing is for sure,,,, Hendrick has got the $$$ to give Jr. one of the best rides out there. Not to mention,,,, I'm with 92DIESEL on this one.I think his brother may have just threw in "the straw that broke the camel's back" with Penske after his last track-tantrum.
I think I'm pulling for Hamlin, the hometown boy from VA.

I only got to hear a little of it yesterday on espn. What will this do to the number 8 Bud car. Keep it of change everything he is identified with. I like Johnson as a driver but Gordon not so much. It should be interesting.
