thing is, I told my buddy about this at lunch today and he said this is pretty common. said when he worked at GM people were getting busted all the time for being drunk on hte line.......course nothing ever happened cause they were union and would get 20 chances before they got canned........but thats just his .02

While they are all "Suspended Without Pay", I'll wager the UAW will ensure none of them will loose their jobs, and they'll all have to attend company (taxpayer) paid-for Rehab for their "Illnesses".

And you wonder why Unions get a bad wrap. Just sad really with so many people sitting with hungry kids, no job that would take employment much more seriously.
