That shows you how eliteist the press and politicians have become. They pretty much think that anybody that didn't make the same choices as them is an idiot. Personally I'd trade a politician or reporter for a Marine any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

The other night I bought a round of drinks for three marines who had just returned from Iraq....just to show my appreciation. Being a stranger, these guys looked at me with surprise and more than a little suspicion. Told em not to be surprised, there are plenty of people out there like me who truley appreciate the sacrifice.

Gotta love Uncle Sam's Misguided Children (USMC).
Were I surrounded ... I'd rather face the enemy with one US MARINE by my side than a thousand liberals.
Dad was a WWII Leatherneck .... God bless the USMC !!

I paid for a Hooters dinner for one of the army rangers that hangs out at The Gun Rack last night. Just got back from Afghanastan and goes back in February. Weren't much bit a little way to show my appreciation.

sorry for not making it down to Lincoln Gieco. Was busy as heck back in town, so many people to see, so much beer to drink Late fall I get my block leave before we head to Iraq so I will make sure to stop then. It was nice being back in Nebraska for a little while. I'm gonna miss watching the huskers in person for the second season in a row
