The Next Time You See Me...
...I'll be one solid hunk of muscle. Of course, you've never seen me so as far as you're concerned I'm already a solid hunk of muscle.
My wife says I'm already a hunk of SOMETHING, but she never will elaborate enough to tell me what that SOMETHING is.
Anyway, the new health kick started today with the arrival of my birthday/Christmas present, the Crossbar MAX by Weider. For those of you who have seen the Bowflex system, this one is very similar but it is far less expensive and is SUPPOSED to be a better workout.
SO...it's time to start working out again and turning some of these "large bones" into muscle.
Now...I'm kind of excited about this so if you're the person that's going to come on here and say that your Crossbar fell apart the first time you tried to use it....or that free weights are SO much better....or that lifting heavy truck tires is the way to go.....or blah, blah, blah.....whatever, don't do it. My wife also says that I am very good at tuning people out and you will quickly become one of those people if you try to rain on my parade....not to mention the fact that I will add you to my list of "not cool" people and forever squint my eyes in scorn at your user name.
Okay...I'm done now. Just thought I'd share my exciting new adventure. When I'm a lean mean DTR pot stirring machine and you're still fat and lazy sitting in the virtual DTR lounge then don't say I didn't try to encourage you to get your fat rear off of the couch and join me.

O god...Hoss...That doesnt get cemented in the bed of your truck..OK? Also.Drinking Cement mix doesnt work for people like it works for cows...So DONT GO DRINKIN IT!!!

Hmmmm...that may not be a bad idea. If I grouted it into the bed of my truck then I could easily take it with me everywhere I go. That would make for some very convenient lunch break workouts.
Wonder if I could patent that idea??

You go ahead and work your excess "bone" off. I'm gonna sit here and drink my high calorie beer, eat my high calorie fast food, and sit on my very narrow rear end and not care because I don't gain weight. HA.
Let me know how it goes for you. The thought has crossed my mind a couple of times about getting one of those.

Coooool, now Hoss has a "Clothes Hanger" just like mine........
I've been hitting the machine a little myself as well as the freeweights.
Getting a little too much "Ballast" for my own good.

Um, can we see some "befores" so we can gauge the progress?
That way we'll know how accurate all of those infomercials are we see on T.V.

Before: Hoss - thong. You newbies missed that nightmare. But in spite of the nightmares that conjures up, the before picture should be Hoss in his thong - frontal, side and rear views.
