New Powerstroke MPG's ?
#17
I just talked to my friend and he's getting rid of it. I think he is going to get a gasser. He mentioned getting a Dodge Gasser. I don't know why he just won't get a Cummins. I have suggested it time and time again. I'm not sure he's going to do any better with as far as fuel mileage with a Dodge Gasser? Talk about jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Then why are they buying them? rebates?
Hey: Over on a RV message board, there either seems to be more 08 F350 powerstrokes showing up lately or are they just making more noise?
Has ford figured out the whole reliability thing ?
I am trying to figure why are these just weekend travel trailer and fiver owners are buying the 08's powerstrokes? Rebates ? One traded a Nissan Titan for a F350.
Are they just wanting two turbo's?
I read on this thread that fuel milege is down on fords. What is up?
are they giving them away? I don't know?

Man o man my family and friends had really good laugh or two when I pulled into the yard with my '06 5.9 CTD. I was a die hard Ford fanatic, but when I wanted a new truck to replace my '00 7.3L PSD, I was told that I was looney as the 6.4L PSD was supposed to be the EDIT in terms of mpg.
Needless to say I had the last laugh as they are gaging at the lousy mpg that their fresh 6.4L's are getting. Might as well be driving a big block gasser.
I may be brand loyal, but I'm not blind either.
They were dead silent when I mentioned that I got 13mpg pulling a 30' flatbed with a '37 firetruck tooling down the road at 60 mph.
