We know you didn't feel like talking about it last night, and nobody here would blame you for that. I have that same feeling just about every weekend here lately after my 49ers lose
Buck it up son, you are still family here at DTR

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
First of, congratulations to President Bush. Glad he got back in.
I have a question, a chance for you Americans to edumakate me. Now that Kerry is defeated, what happens to him politically? He is a senator, so can he legally continue in that position? What are his choices as a politician? What, if anything will the Democratic party do to/for him? In short, now what for Kerry? Or does life just continue as tho nothing ever happened?

The exit polls almost seemed to me a little bias. As the exit polls were being announced none of the votes had been counted yet.
Ted Kennedy was on CNN saying from the exit polls that Kerry has it in the bag. Seems fishy.
With that being said I wonder how many Republicans saw the polls and the weather and just said screw it? The margin of victory may have gone higher than it was.
Is over 3.5 million people a mandate? Seems like to me

Biased and wrong, like Michael Moore. I think those exit pollsters were questioning young attractive female voters and like Lary says, Senator Kennedy was trying to keep Republicans from turning out.
Now it's over and the most profound thing I find, regarding the results I mean, is that John Edwards didn't help pull the south toward the Democratic side like Senator Kerry was hoping. Like most North Carolinians, I find Edwards to be a big disappointment as a state senator. His absences during senate voting alone caused many who supported him last election to change their minds. He was indeed a very unpopular senator in his home state. Had Kerry queried his Democratic friends in North Carolina about what they thought of Mr. Edwards, I believe he would have chosen a different running mate.
