Why?
- for proving El Quieda was not in IRAQ?
- for keeping his efforts 100% focused on Osama?
- for NOT finding WMD's
- for not vetoing any big spending bills?
- for trying to cut pay for combat troops?
- for being the first president to lose jobs in 70 yrs?
- for having friends among the Enron crooks?
- for never reading newspapers?
- for letting 9/11 happen AND then using it?
- for getting 1000 American soldiers killed?
- for getting 100,000 Iraqi's killed?
- for forgetting about North Korea?
- for giving tax breaks to the wealthy?
- for presiding while thousands lose health coverage?
- for producing a monster deficit?
- for sending the Bin Laden's home?
- for Nailing Cat Stevens?
- for failing to provide order in Iraq?
- for failing to tender Haliburton contracts.
- for the president of Afghanistan?
- for failing to report for duty?
- for not going to Vietnam?

Now I am not saying George W is a totally bad guy. I am just saying that a strong case can be made that he ain't quite as perfect as some of you folks are trying to say he is. Why I think he would be a lot of fun at a Barbeque.

Why? For the simple fact that even if Bush is NOT the best man for the job (which I believe he is), the alternative candidate is DEFINITELY the LAST man we'd ever want or need as President over the most powerful nation in the world.

Do I agree with everything that Bush has done? No, of course not.

That said, Bush is a man that stands up for what is RIGHT....even if it isn't popular. Show me a liberal democrat that does THAT and I'll vote for him in the next election.

Herb,
No one is going to go through that list. The majority of the things on your list have been addressed and mostly explained over the past couple of weeks. Going through it all again is not going to make you understand or change your mind. It would be a total waste of time to respond to it.

- for proving El Quieda was not in IRAQ?
- for keeping his efforts 100% focused on Osama?
This is a war on terrorism, not specifically on Osama. There are more of them out there then just him. We have 75% of his lieutenants, and have him basically pinned. We'll get him. I didn't know we were expected to win wars overnight.

- for NOT finding WMD's
Intelligence issues. Already proven and been discussed before

- for not vetoing any big spending bills?
Agreed

for trying to cut pay for combat troops?
Haven't heard that one, but I guess it's okay for Kerry to vote against supporting them with equipment and resources?

- for being the first president to lose jobs in 70 yrs?
1.9 million new jobs last year. The economy is on the upswing. He inherited an economy on the downswing, and is turning it around. This is proven fact. Clinton had the bubble, and Bush inherited a pig. War, etc etc.

- for having friends among the Enron crooks?
I'm not sure about if he has close friends there. I was friends with people in my past who are now in jail. Does that mean I should automatically be considered a crook? You can't tell me that Kerry and his wife have never been involved with shady characters.

- for never reading newspapers?
I would HAVE to read the newspapers. I don't get that either.

- for letting 9/11 happen AND then using it?
How did he LET 9/11 happen? I can't wait to hear your vast right wing conspiracy theory on this one. How did he use it?

- for getting 1000 American soldiers killed?
It's a hard decision to make, but he made it, and I support our president and I think we've done the right things.

- for getting 100,000 Iraqi's killed?
You can thank Saddam for that. He's one of the main reasons why we went there in the first place. The blame lies on his shoulders. I suppose if we let him stay in power, the numbers would be in the millions eventually.

- for forgetting about North Korea?
You're just absolutely wrong on this one. The talks with North Korea have been ongoing. By following Kerry's plan, we remove the pressure that China can provide in these talks. Not a good idea in my opinion.

- for giving tax breaks to the wealthy?
I'm not wealthy, and I got a tax break. What's wrong with tax breaks for the wealthy? They do afterall pay over 80% of the taxes in this country. Why do we continue to play Robin Hood with them? What is the incentive to become wealthy and build a financially secure life in this country if you know the govt. is just going to take it from you anyway?

- for presiding while thousands lose health coverage?
...and Kerry has a better plan? Nobody has seen his plan. He doesn't have squat except a promise to tax the "wealthy". What he doesn't tell you is that effects 475,000 small businesses who could very well die. So think about it, over 500,000 jobs in jeopardy just by raising the taxes. Now how is he going to pay for the rest, and cover the deficit? Give me a break. He's unrealistic.

- for producing a monster deficit?
I don't have an answer for this other than to say given the climate, and the pig he inherited from Clinton, he's not done so bad. I think that over the next 4 years, this can be turned around, and not by KErry and his social healthcare.

- for sending the Bin Laden's home?
They've disowned him anyways, so big deal. It's not like they can find him.

- for Nailing Cat Stevens?
Low priority. Screw Cat Stevens.

- for failing to provide order in Iraq?
Upcoming elections, more kids in school then ever, in the process of helping them develop freedom in their country. IT's time for them to step up to the plate as well. Again, I didn't know this was supposed to happen overnight.

- for failing to tender Haliburton contracts.
Most of them are competitive. Some aren't and that happened through the Clinton administration as well. If you'd actually do some research you'd know that the GAO under both administrations recommended using them without competitive bidding because there were no other companies who could provide the needed services.

- for the president of Afghanistan?
Elections? Is this a bad thing?

- for failing to report for duty?
Your opinion because you choose what you want to believe, even though the fact prove otherwise. Even CBS news knows that now.

- for not going to Vietnam?
I didn't know that was a requirement. I suppose it's ok for Clinton to dodge the draft, but not ok for Bush to serve in the guard.
