Was that directed at me?? I only ask because I'm pretty sure he wasn't joking when he said it was lose lose for Kerry.

Suddenly it's lose lose?? I don't get it.
Glad you asked, I'll explain. Since Kerry lost the election, that's a loss. If Kerry had won the election that too would be a loss because he'd be inheriting all this mess that Bush would have left. Bush spent 4 years blaming everything on Clinton, what's he gonna do the next 4? I wonder what the deficit will be in 2 yrs? In 4 yrs? Who will he blame this on? Still Clinton? Bush made that bed now he has to lay in it.
I wouldn't wish this crap on Kerry

Don't be so bitter George, I know you are unhappy, but we will all survive to argue about the next election too

I’m afraid you are wrong. Which was the reason for my congratulations to you guys. How many of you would have done the same if Kerry had won?

51% to 48% is still pretty divided considering. If it was 65% to 35% I would understand. Not arguing just my opinion.

Ohhhhh.....I see. We're back on that. I thought you were serious and had a legitimate reason for saying it was lose lose for Kerry. Turns out you were just bashing our President again. Seems to me you WERE wishing this "crap" on Kerry, but fortunately for all of us he got off the hook.

By the way, am I talking to George or Cheryl??

T-7, I'd have to disagree. If I heard correctly on the radio earlier today, I believe they said that President Bush received more popular votes than any other president in history....and I believe he's the first to EVER get 51% of the votes. So, while 3% SOUNDS close, it's really not.

The correct terminology is "tally-whacker".
