Great news, but I will keep the prayers going. It sounds like you are holding up better than I think I would .I’m praying that he is restored to normal, and for you and your family to be drawn closer by all of this.
Good luck and keep us informed

I just returned from a vist with Ryan. He is doing great, but has a long way to go. He is still fed by tube and has the catherer. He cannot stand without considerable help. It is his right side that is weak, little use of the right arm and leg but not paralized. He cannot talk but the trag healing is still new, we don't know about that yet, doctor said he may have to learn to talk again. Doctors are concerned about his reading ability, but he seems ok mentally, good memory and knows what he wants.

This is already a maricle situation, compared to a week or so ago. God has seen fit to heal him, I believe that he will come out of this. Hard to look at him now at 95 pounds and almost six feet tall. They said that this is not a problem and he will regain fast when he starts eating on his own.

He has an alphabet board to spell out words. When he was little he and his brother always wanted to see the movie Uncle Buck, he spelled it out, he wants the movie. So his memory is good, bet he gets it tomorrow.

Thank you very much for the updates. I always become worried and hungry for news following tragedies like this, even for people I do not know personally. Prayers are still being sent from my home in IA, the highway, and where ever your extended DTR family happen to be when the spirit reminds them to pray. God bless you, Ryan, and the rest of your family. Get some rest. God is working for you...

Great news, hope you guys are able to keep him active. A body loses 3% of it's strength each day in bed. It literaly disappears overnight. That may explain a lot of the deficite you were talking about. Went through that myself, actually had to learn to brush my teeth with my left hand for a bit. Anyway how are you making out?
