Need some help with a Perkins 1104c engine

Curious if anyone here has a service manual for this motor they would be able to post/email. If it would be easier, I only need the section in reference to installing the IP and not the whole manual.

I Need to install the Injection pump on a wood chipper and have some concerns. Any online sites I have come across that have what I am looking for requires you to setup a business account or something of that sort which I cant do as I am not a business. (doing this work for a friend)

First I want to make sure it gets timed correctly. I know I have to lock the pump during assembly and all that fun stuff, but would like to have something in writing during the process to be safe.

Second, the shaft for the injection pump is tapered with a key way for a woodruff key but the gear itself is only tapered. This leads me to believe someone else was inside this motor before and used mismatched parts putting it back together. I would like to make sure I get all the correct parts and put this back together the right way instead of using mismatched parts from someone elses hack job.

Can't help you with the rest, but don't take that as an indicator, all of our P7100 pumps have the keyway in the tapered shaft, and none have a slot in the gear......... They seem to run.

Patdaly, thanks.. That makes me feel a little better haha. Luckily I found a few places withing reasonable distance that will rebuild the pump and so far only 1 has given an outrageous price to do so. (Almost as much as a new pump, just for them to rebuild this one)

The guy I'm going to call tomorrow comes recommended through the local Cummins dealer so well see what he has to say.
