Need Info On a shotgun
Just bought a New England Firearms fully rifled Tracker2 shotgun. I know enough about their reputation in cheap well made single scatter guns, but curious as to how good their slug gun is??? Most important, is load choice and accuracy to narrow down a good load to save money and range time. These new slug ammo prices are rediculous!!!!!!!

never shot one, don't know anyone with one, but start withthe good brand basic slugs, pure lead, if they shoot well, you are lucky. If you are looking for higher velocity, I like the Remington copper solids, fast and pretty flat shooting for a shotgun, and they tend to group real well out of my gun. Not sure if you can in your state, but a good bit of optics on top o f that shotgun can help a lot too, I Paid a good bit to have some good glass and I will never cheap out on a scope again.

the Rem copper solid slugs are accurate, but I wouldn't use them again. I took a 7 point one year, heavy body, one hole in and 5 comeing out the other side. The 4 pieces designed to expand out came right off and went their own path brakeing bone, damageing some good meat.
