Need ideas about putting in a manuel trans on the floor!!
Just as the topic says, im putting in a nv4500 with a brand new double disc clutch and the updated input shaft. And i cant seem to get it in. tried to move it up and down, sideways, everything. And i was just curious if anyone has tried to do this and whats the secrets? Thanks

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...
Hate to be Mr obvious here but are you sure the discs are lined up correctly so the input shaft can slide through? That should really be the only thing to stop it from going in.

I rechecked it and the flywheel disc was just a hair off. So went ahead and realined. Then lifted the tranny and shook it alittle and it went in pretty easy!! Thanks for the input!
