Need funny PT exercises for last PT session before Grad

Need some help. We have been at the Fire and Rescue Academy for 6 months. We have our last PT session this week, I have been voted to lead it. I need some funny warm ups

1- Star gazers ae a must
2- Monkey Truckers an option

But I need at least 4 solid. Help me out and let me know what they are. I have a feeling we are going to run alot of towers but is all in good fun.

Flutter kicks or hello-dollies are always a winner.

I don't know what kind of helmets you use or if they'd be conducive for this but, when I instructed Air Assault School, one of the favorites was "belay excercises". Point was to develope the neck muscles so the students that were on belay wouldn't take their eyes off the rapeller. Cinch the chinstrap tight so the helmet doesn't flop around. Person lays on his back, legs crossed, arms crossed and touch chin to chest at a 4-count pace. After a few of these, the tongue starts to come out to aid in leverage. If done long enough, the person sounds like they just came out of the dentist, because all the neck and jaw muscles are numb and uncooperative.

I agree with the flutter kicks also.

You can do finger exercises. You will watch grown men wimp out faster than greased lightning but yet it sounds so easy. Just have the platoon in exercise formation then have them bring there arms straight out in front of them with the hands palms down and fingers straight out. On your command have them stretch the fingers wide open then roll them into a tight ball then release. Repeat at you cadence and watch the tears fly. You could also do a variation of this using a tool. Arms straight out, a halligan tool across the back side of the wrists then roll the wrists back and forth without dropping the tool. This one really starts to hurt quick also.

Good luck and welcome to the Job.

Oh sorry to confuse gents. Being a former jarhead I have more than enough to fill the daily seven . I ment smart aleck exercises that aren't really exercises. We have had our butts kicked for 24 weeks. We don't want to work hard. Like star gazer all you do is look at the sky and call cadence and the class calls repitition. I'm looking for games not work.

If you just want to be a wise guy then fill an area with protein based foam and have them all crawl through it with a blackout mask on.

Do a cadence slow count for the Maca rena.

arms out in front

left arm bent at elbow cross over to straight right arm, right arm bent crossed to left elbow, etc...as in the steps of the dance.

Do the Administrator:
1.head down chin on chest, slack
2. tilt head sideways, arms straight down
3.arms come up, (palm upwards and bent at elbows in a query)
4. shoulder shrug with a loud 'IDUNNO' ( I don't know)
cadence count/ repeat

Do the Lieutenant:

1. from form of attention, extend left arm out from the body at a 45 degree angle on command of "ready"
2. use as pivot point in a circular revolution as in a pretend airplane flying in a circle on "begin"
3. circles made with airplane zooming noises
4. command "all cease" students stand upright and hold dizzy head shouting "whooooahhhh" (woe)
do once

hope that helps you a bit

former new york state police officer/correction officer academy instructor....
yeah, we use to demoralize the students who scored 100 percent on tests, etc. this was before sexual harassment and politcal correctness.
