Got the 4G yesterday for the wife. I had to raise you-know-what with Sprint about another issue and the supervisor I talked with advised me to load Juice Defender and Advanced Task Killer to help manage the battery drain. The CSR at the Sprint store also said that the phone will not charge as fast off a USB port on a computer as it would from the car or wall charger.

i ain't no engineer...but i don't think the HTC EVO has a "diode" on the inlet charge...because if i leave it on my USB hub at night, it dies QUICK...i think it tries to back flow power to the Hub, and kills it self.

hmmm, guess i'll play aound with the settings again. On a side note, Verizon just announced no more unlimited data for new customers. Wonder if this will help the GPS manufacturers. Any idea how much data the GPS uses when active?
