Angry My turbo saga continues......

Well, thanks to Durasmack giving me the original link to the turbo I "Bought" I contacted the original winner. Guess what????? He didn't back out! He was an idiot too and sent the $$$ and has not recieved a turbo yet either! I was surprised because he hadn't left any negative feedback yet. I guess we are both stupid. Anyways, I would normally keep something like this quiet as I don't like for others to see that I have done something stupid but I hope I can help teach others a lesson that people tried to tell me in the past. Don't pay cash unless you have the product in hand!!!
Now to start the phone calls and letters and maybe take a trip......

Sorry about the bad luck...I thought I was getting swindled on Ebay last week, but everything turned out GREAT! Thank God!

I'm on the way from your house to IL...I've got a buddy who is 6'6", 375lb, and can be mean and intimidating. I think we could go along if you wish

He also has a Black Mercedes if you wanna look the part, too
Chris

Seems like the law enforcement might want to help if there was two victims. I would think a cyber unit would want an easy " win ".

I contacted one of the other high bidders and when they responded with a really crazy story I did some more checking and found it to be the guy's girlfriend or wife and they apparently were bidding to drive the price up and then retracted the bid. Pretty good scam I guess. It worked.....

Ooooh...forgot. Got another buddy about 6'4", 285lb football player.

I think it would be pretty funny if you could actually find the guy and have these two meet him

Again, Good Luck,
Chris

Well, it's pretty easy to find the guy. I have his real address and if I'm willing to pay $20.00 online, I can get more info on his wife.
You know, before I sent the money I asked myself "Can you afford to lose this money if it's a scam?" and I told myself yes and sent the $$$. But man it makes me mad to have been taken! Another member here also bid on it and was offered the second chance. He took the smart road and blew it off. Smart guy....

I'm still getting a turbo sometime soon. I have to after all this. Now I just need to look for another great deal........

I finally left my negative feedback this morning. I see someone else did too for the same reason but a different part. Dirtbag....

How did you pay for the turbo? Perhaps there is some recourse through that source - ie visa/mastercard/paypal. You should also contact ebay customer services and see if they can black flag accounts to his ip address. Worst case, have about 6-8 Dodges park on his front yard with large companions and ask politely for your money back.................... I'm sure there's lots of other DTR folks in your area that wouldn't mind helping out, good luck.

Im 6'3"(6'4" with my redwings on ), and 320lbs. Where is Scotty when ya need him Two things i hate, are a liar, and a theif, and this guy basically qualifies for both... So where does this scumbag live anyway? I would do everything i could to make his life miserable, and get my money back.

Check this thread out. Turned out to be a living nightmare for the seller who advertised falsley, and then didnt send the parts. Might give you some ideas, but it is VERY long. I get a kick out of reading it though.
