My son's 1st wheels

Well tonite I went and checked out a Toy Taco Prerunner for my son's 1st vehicle.
44K miles 2001, as clean as you could ask for for a 6 yr old vehicle. I got it for 13K. Carfax checked out and I drove it and it feels as tight as you could wish for a 6 y/o truck. My son is away on a school sponsored FFA trip where he is judging horses till Sunday. I can't wait for him to come home and see his "new" ride sitting in the driveway waiting for him to learn parallel parking in "HIS" truck. I can't belive that Toyota rates this thing for 3/4 ton, but driving it feels like it could peel the paint off of a 40 year old lamp pole.

Guess ya'll can't tell dad is jazzed and can't wait for the Big Grin Jr is gonna have. It's gonna be a TOTAL surprise!!!!

Could you explain that? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Find me a 40 year old lamp pole that still has its paint on it

Those things seem to run forever and then some though

Well, with the 4:11 rear end and the oversize tires it has, when you mash the GO pedal, it GOES!!!! and quickly I might add. It is hard for me to imagine a Toy with that much giddyup, (but then I have only ridden in old 4 banger Toys). As far as old light poles with paint on em, I have 2 in my front yard that are 35+ years old that could use a sprucing up.... I'll provide the paint, ladder and bucket, so come on down. Plus when we take a break I'll provide the fishing pole and beer and we'll catch us a mess of Crappie for dinner...LOLOL

Gary

P.S. still waiting for juniors arrival from his 4 day school trip....
