Infidel,
A friend of mine just got one of those. Seem pretty good quality, roller bearings and all for the price. The only thing that seemed kinda chinsey on it was the locks. Other than that a good value.

You lucky devil. Around here in Southern California they all cost over 1000. They're called HammerHeads, correct? Look like absolute top of the line tool boxes to me. I got a Kobalt one from Lowes that I'm happy with. (I swear that Kobalt's, Husky's and Craftsmen's are all the exact same )

Nice Bill.
I've looked at those several time when shopping at Costco but Wifey keeps putting the Halt on it when she tells me I've already got 3 tool boxes full of stuff.
Well heck, she has more than 3 pairs of shoes.............
Tried that one,.....didn't work..........back of my head is still sore.......

This one was an addition to my overflowing Snap-On and Proto boxes.
This Hammerhead box appears to be very high quality, hate to say it but the Chinese are getting pretty darn good.
Took almost two months to get the box, every time Costco got a shipment in they sold out in one day. Lucked out this time, even though I got to Costco right at opening time they had already sold four of the twelve boxes that came in that morning.

I've been lusting after one ever since I 1st saw them in the local Sam's Clubs. Guess I'll have to make do with my cheapie $90 jobbies for now, both filled to overflowing. Are we spoiled or what?
Tried to talk one of my brother's boss into buying one but he preferred spending ~$4K for a Snap-on. Nice toolbox, but $4K!!!??? Didn't actually pay that much as he partially paid for it with an old toolbox trade-in. Still, ~$2400 out of pocket. A serious chunk of change (at least to me)!
The only possible drawback I see to the lower priced toolboxes is that they generally have shallower drawers front-to-back, usually <17". Not a problem for me, but then I don't use my tools to make a living.

Nice tool box, Bill. I looked at those too. I'd have to get a stool to see in the top drawers. My a$$ is slung a little too low to the ground. I've got an old Mac rollaway with a Snap-On top.

i'm waiting for that to go on sale at my local costco... it is sitting at $899 CDN or something like that... cause then i can put the smaller crapsman top box into my truck bed, and my bottom box in the basement... it's a win/win for me [except for my wallet]

I have one sitting in my garage right now. We were in Costco a few months back when they first got them..and my wife turns to me and asked if I might be able to use one of them. I made it look as if I was thinking of what I could use it for...I said I might be able to use it....
She said...ok you can have one...
I got it for $649.00
