It was done with an older 3 megapixel camera. I counted, 1..2..3..bang. he clicked on the 3, but since it's an older camera, it takes a while. It was luck.

Cool pic. Love those 1911's. I have over 20 of them now. Is that the OD Green?

Kind of. It's a Springfield WW2 replica. Great gun once I attacked it with the dremel, as it had some FTC and FTF's when it was new. Nothing a bit of polishing didn't fix, though.

Yeah, I recognized the Springfield and it looks kinda like the US GI I have in OD green. I also have it in the full size parkerized, full sized stainless. full size bi-tone, full size hi-cap, commander size, and the ultra compact in stainless with night sights. The only one I don't have yet in US GI is the Micro Compact. Then there's the three S & W's, several Para's, Rock Island, and a few others. In case you can't tell, I like my 1911's.

I like the ergonomics of the 1911, but Glocks have my full support. Just from the type of person I am. I'm really hard on all my tools/trucks/toys... I'm just hard on things. The G19 I had took everything I could throw at it, including dropping it into the softest, siltiest dirt you could imagine, and kept on firing with no problems. I drop the 1911 once in that dirt and it wasn't happy one bit. The G20 comes in on Wednesday, and that will be my new carrygun.

No offense but I'm not much on the combat tupperware, just me I guess. I live in a GFZ (glock free zone). I do have CZ's, Taurus's, Berretta's, Colt's, Star's, Baby Eagles, and a few others though. My main hang on the belt that I go everywhere with is the 1911, either the modified Rock Island, the Para Ordnance Wart Hog, or the Ultra Compact stainless.

I guess I'm a simple man. I love plastic guns. All my longguns have syn. stocks, including the 91/30, except the Mauser (Yugo M48). I just prefer plastic so I won't have to worry about scratching the wood. Same with the 1911, they're beautiful pistols, and I'd be mad if I scratched it. My ar and 870 get tossed around like no tommorow, have gouges, etc.. and I don't care. I dented the Mauser and I **** near cried.

Gotta agree with you there, all my long range stuff has the synthetic stocks. My Stainless 30-30 has the prettiest walnut stock you ever seen but it stays in the safe and doesn't even get shot at all. Still has the tags on it from date of purchase.

Yup. I like to use my guns, and use to me involves some pretty harsh handling/circumstances. I don't want any safe queens just yet, I prefer shooting entirely too much.
