My feeling is hurt............
There ain't nobody to talk to.
Everyone is at work.
Tried to call Ed last night.
He's acting like a jerk.
Top is busy with grandkids.
His wife is doing the same.
I'm a-hole deep in squash bugs.
Steadly going insane.
My wife don't understand me.
She thinks that I ain't right.
Guess I'll go pick okra.
Hope there ain't a snake bite.
All the stuff is picked now.
The beer is running low.
So with dear wifes prodding.
I guess I better go.

Poor Shortround!
You have been working so long you don't know how to handle a day off
Beer man! drink more beer! everything will be just fine. Try sitting in the shade for a little bit

Hey,.....I resemble that remark.......
Went to one of Wifey's job sites last night to help her finish a major goat-roped install job.
Workin' for free for the company. :
But then there's the "Paybacks". ;D

Ed,
I can't pull up what I wrote. Maybe the one that removed it can.
What I wrote was something that those of us in the old time "spook" community that was in Saigon would remember, and could laugh about now. Was it off color? More than likely.
But to those of us that were there and were able to escape the fears and the bowel loosening stress we had been dealing with, Ms. Mary's place was an escape.
She's dead now. Hopefully Sky Six took as good a care of her as she did her guys, whether their hats were green, black, or maroon. Right or wrong, she gave us a bit of hope and happiness that our own folks back home wouldn't give us.
Mary, may you have fair winds and following seas. Thanks for all you did.
