Got the results from the bone marrow back, not as good as I was hopin, but from the way the doctor talked I had "miracle" in mind apparently. She's gone from 80% of the cells in her bone marrow being cancerous, to 16%. I was hoping it would be down under 5%, as after that they won't pull bone marrow anymore. It's pretty tough on her, even though the pain medicine they give her actually gives her a little spell of amnesia during that time, and she doesn't remember what happens. Doc was really pleased though, she's responding well and hanging tough. Next trip to the doctor is Wednesday due to Thanksgiving, hoping that will be the last bone marrow pull.

Well, got the latest bone marrow results today. Had to wait since Wednesday due to the holiday and all. She's in remission!!!!!! She had less that 1% cancer cells in her marrow, down from over 80% to start with. Further good news, the cells that are left are "low risk" meaning she might be able to have the least drastic of the ongoing treatment after the initial "induction" phase. I'm just so stinkin happy I can't stand it.
