Hello friends and family!

THis is a friendly reminder,

I am writing to ask you to help me raise money for the American Diabetes Association. I will be participating in School Walk for Diabetes, a fund raiser that teaches kids about getting exercise and eating good-for-you foods.

This money will be helpful to all people with diabetes. Did you know that almost 24 million people have diabetes and many of them don't even know that they have it? That number includes many kids like me.

Thank you for getting involved!

To balance out my personal convictions, I have donated locally (ROCHESTER, ny) for free testing for 30 plus year old employed black people. I am not black, but this was an age and group that did not get any funding. I was amazed to learn how many people are:

1. affected by diabetes during an EMT class and

2. how simple education / diet/exercise can prevent, reduce and eliminate the disease.

God Bless you in your personal endeavor for your family. I do not mean to offend anyone, just this online donation stuff is awkward for me, personally.
I do so encourage any other reader to follow their heart!
