Talking My Dad's first ATV

This is an example of the ATVs that my Dad and his buddies had. I think he was about 17 then,,,,,,,,, and he still rides!
These guys rode year round and just about any surface you can imagine,,,,,,,,,, even across the lake when it would freeze over!
Dad is the second one from the left.

He has said that many times. However he still has a garage full now. These are some more of his,,,,, I bought the brown one (second from the right) from him in 93 and he traded the tan one on the end for the 88 that he is riding in the picture in my Photo Gallery. The side-hack rig (second from the left) was traded in on a 93 Anniversary edition Ultra Classic side-hack rig (only 11 made from the factory) and he still has the 72 Servi-car trike with a 45ci flathead motor (last year they produced the flathead).

I'll post some more when I get them scanned. I need to get some digital pics of his collection when it warms up and we can get them out of the garage.

Talking 1st place in local bike show

Here is his 1993 Anniversary Ultra with matching sidecar. Mom wasn't real crazy about riding in a sidecar after all the years she rode on the seat behind him. She has rode with him since he started riding.
But, now she would rather be in the sidecar which has its own controls for the stereo system,,,,, ,,,,,, plus she can just pull the tonneau cover up under her chin if they get caught in the rain,,,,,,,,, stays dry as a bone!

Dennis, If I ever get around that area, I sure would like a tour. The better half, she is continually begging me to get her a Harley. She has ridden some, but sure not enough for me to be sure she likes it. She did offer to trade my truck for one. . I told her I would trade her for a new truck.

Really, a great collection. Lots of time and energy to maintain something like that. Give your dad and mom my congrats.
