Here's my biggest toy, almost 20 years of blood sweat, tears and $$.

Going to sell her as soon as I get a ride in the new Challenger!

The rest are either in process projects ( 79 Impala 4 speed Coupe, 78 Riveria ) or waiting to be started ( 69 Chevelle 350Hp/4sp, 83 C10 shortbed )

Pat, that is the next step for the rr. I was putting together a stroker kit 496 and was going to top it off with the procharger p1sc or d1 head unit. It would have been stupid fast and sweet setup Unfortunately funding dried up and I had to sell off what I had. But I will get that motor built! The cog belt on those guys is the only way to go for no belt slippage. How many ponies is that putting out?

Sweet looking ride--must be fun for a smoke show or two

DON'T DO IT!

Unless you want something that is no fun to drive, stay away from big inch stupid power.

I swear unless this thing wasn't so touchy to drive, I never would get rid of it.

The D1 or P1SC isn't going to be able to keep up with your 496, it is my largest problem with my 489. I have it set up to be at the transonic region at 7200 RPMs, and thats where I shift, but any deviation at all will rip the teeth right off the cog belt, which isn't fun.

I do want at least 1 8 Second pass before I sell it, so I am saving up for a F2, which should be enough so I don't kill things.

As for Hp? I will admit to over 1K....... Lets put it this way, I have 83 Lb injectors, and I will see 88-90 percent duty cycle on them at 60 PSI fuel rail pressure. She weighs right at 3900 at the line, and ran a best of 5.83/121 in the 1/8th ( belt killing pass )

You may want to check out a more sedate setup, either a 383 if you must run a BB, or a 360-380 inch SB with decent heads and a TT setup. You will not only have a much more pleasant driver, but one that is probably much faster....... And unless you have to pay for the turbo headers to be fabricated, end up with less in $$ invested.......

Thanks McMopar, and yes it makes lots of very expensive smoke.....

This picture is really old. The bad part (or good) is it looks exactly like it does in that picture today (pic was taken in 1990). Mostly because is been sitting in my shop for the past 14 years. I've had it for almost 22 years. Its the RR in my sig.

'68 RoadRunner-building a 440 for it, it came with a 13:1 compression 383 as the guy I got it from stripped it to bare metal and was gonna make it a drag car

'70 Challenger, 318/auto original Sublime car, doing body work on it, going to bore/stroke it to 390" convert to manual, still thinkin on color

'57 Chevy BelAir, not a muscle car but its my baby, got it my senior year in high school, 283/M21 Muncie four, soon to have Currie 9+ 9inch rearend, 4 wheel disc brakes, new paint/interior, engine undecided on...oh and its a baby blue 4 door
