No digital pics---but I have a 1970 Charger R/T and a 74 tubbed duster project. My lil bro has a 1970 Challenger R/T and my Dad has a 1969 Coronet R/T. He just sold his 1968 1 of 94 426 Hemi Super Bee

very nice!
my old man had a GTX back in the day. I want one but can't imagine spending 50 large on a good quality turn key. i will probably "settle" for the new Challenger with the 392

And still spend nearly 50K on someting that will be worth 20 in 2-3 years??? At least the old cars don't depreciate, they go up in value every year!!

I would not buy a muscle car as an investment or any other car for that matter. right now muscle cars are hot but what happens all "hot" markets? Prices are inflated right now period and there is no guarantee the prices will continue to appreciate. Ferraris and "antique" cars were hot in the 80s and early 90s and those who bought back then can't get back what they paid for now and that is without taking inflation or the time value of money into account. That said, I would not buy the new Challenger when they first come out but wait a year or two and pick one up under warranty for much less than new. A used SRT8 Charger goes for ~30 right now. I guess I have just too much pragmatism and not enough passion to pay any price for a muscle car.
