Not that I am aware with, but that is possible. I shut off my firewall but all it would do is give me a time out error when trying to load a browser.
Correction...only IE is now working I can't get the old version of firefox to access the internet even though the firewall has granted it permission.

I downloaded and installed the upgrade 3 days ago without any problem. (I learned about the upgrade being available early from another forum.)

Mine works fine
I like the spell check item...even does grammar, not that I need help with either of those very often, but sometimes my fingers get ahead of my brain

I installed the new copy of the firewall and here I am
Something in that old firewall must have been corrupted as Firefox had permission to access the Internet, but couldn't do it.
When all else fails, reinstall the programs

Glad you got it working again Lary.
I have a computer here that I have to do something similar too. (my 98se machine) When it starts acting funny I have to FDISK, FORMAT and re-install everything.

Have you fellows seen a couple of cool extensions for 2.0?
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2207/
This one really works great. I liked the way the older version of itunes had the controls on the menu bar when minimized, but the newer versions don't have that. This gives you that functionality back.

Ive been using FireFox for a long time and only keep IE around for those sites that cant use IE (Mostly work related).
2.0 seems to be working fine for me... so far. I have not tried 2.0 from behind my works firewall. I will see about this my next trip in to the office.
However, I am very glad to see FireFox finally get some built in spell checking.
Rich.

I've had 2.0 running for about 5 minutes now so I'll ask a beginners question. When I started 1.x, it would automatically open all 15 tabs that had been open when I closed it. I see that 2.0 doesn't have a Sessionsaver option but I thought that was to let me go back one iteration and open the last set of tabs. Maybe I was wrong. How do I get 2.0 to open all the tabs that were open when I closed it last?
