motor oil for craftsman gt 5000
Can I use regular 10w30 motor oil in the above tractor with a kohler pro motor?

you can, however if temps allow, it would be better to use straight 30W.

Uper is right. If you use 10W30 you risk the oil getting too hot in the valve train and causing the valves to seize. Use an oil specifically designed for air cooled engines and you'll have no problems!
