You're Welcome.
Expensive, When I left Guam in June the price for a gallon of #2 was $3.45. A lot of things were more expensive mainly because everything has to be shipped in.
Lance's truck has changed quite a bit since you have seen it last. Looks and performs great. His truck is quite the monster .

Alpine, I knew you'd chime in I thought, most removed from civilization? Then I got thinking, we are all so scattered all over the world. Who is remote, anyway.
Well, once we receive a post from Mars to say that their diesel prices have just gone up following the Earth's wonderful trend, we will know they are most remote over there

I'd pick KL over Kazakastan. Malaysia is beautiful. Great people. Fairly Inexpensive. Beautiful beaches. Very safe. Tropical Climate. If you are working in the oilfield you will probably be out of Kerteh or Kuantan. Real nice area. Watch out for the monkeys. They are everywhere. Try to arrange some extra days in country if you are a rotator. KL is a beautiful city. When you fly over try to get on Singapore Air or Cathay Pacific. Both are great airlines.

I have heard great things about Malaysia, but I am trying to stay out of there.

Huh? Dude, you must be thinking of Indonesia. Yes, there is a fairly large Muslim population in Malaysia. But I've been there and work with a lot of guys that live there now. I would go back in a heartbeat and take my family with me. I would not be concerned about our safety either. What part of Malaysia were you in that was bad?

It can suck to be a service hand. 2 weeks isn't bad. We had one guy that stayed on board during startup for over 6 months. He was half a bubble off though. You do get to travel to more places though. Plus spend more quality time in airports.
