Minneapolis Moline ???
I am looking at an old Minneapolis Moline, 4-cylinder, gas, 13.6x38 duals, tri-cycle.
The owner was not around when I looked and I saw no model number, so I am un-sure of that.
The tractor starts easily and runs good, all hydraulics work.
Problem is, due to a recent bush-hogging mis-hap, the PTO shaft is snapped off flush at the housing.
I know on some tractors, the PTO shaft goes way up in there, almost as long as the tractor, and on others, it is only a short little shaft that is turned by a gear, very close to the rear.
Which will it be on this tractor??
Where in the world would I find one??
If it is the short type, if I can't find one, I can weld the broken piece on and machine it smooth.
I just don't really want to do open-heart surgery to fix a shaft.
I will try to get a model number.
Thanks.

Get me a model "letter" The old MM's were usually letter's...U, R, Z, GB, etc!
Then I can tell you what style shaft it had, and if it's available new, or give you some idea on some junkyards to call for used ones.
Sometimes they're easy to replace, other times it's a big job!
