Re:Mini Pulling Tractor
Theres a pulling team out of Ohio that has one with three engines on it. They use it for show and pull the big tractor around during the pull.
DM01

Looks like a fun ride. I have a friend that has one kinda like it. His has a 550 Honda straight 4 w/ 750 internals running on alky mated to a M38 tranny twirling a narrowed Ford Courier rear. He told me it will run faster than yu want to ride it, and his still looks like a garden tractor with hood and rear fenders. He only pulled his twice. First pull tore the front off of the sled. Second pull shreded the Chevette tranny he was using at the time.

An ISB mini-rod would be sweeeet 8) 8)

Re:Mini Pulling Tractor
I own one of those Mini Mods. It has a Honda Nighthawk 750 engine. Has car rearend and trans with reverse and one forward gear. It also has the motorcycle trans with all the gears. Use second or third on the bike tranny. Third is best if it is able to get the sled moving good. Rev the engine to six grand let the clutch out slow once moving if all seems well give it everything it has. Must be ready to shift your body weight if one tire loses traction as it will go out of bounds quick. If you have to think, lean the wrong way or lift your foot off the gas at all you are done. My cousins built it and pulled it a long time and did very well with it. When my cousins had it they named it MADD DAWG.

Then, I went to visit my friend a year or so after high school at the Missouri State Fair. I didn't know what smoke was until the Pro Stock tractors fired up! They pulled everything from the mini's on up.
