Metal has all others beat cause you can cut it weld it together grind it down cut it back apart re-weld it re-grind it and stick it back together and no=one would know the difference but you, I love metal fab! Got into woodworking in middle school then when I got my first truck bring on the metal fabbin. Runs in the blood Gramps was a welder in the Pipe Fitters Union for 45 years. He tried to enlist in armed forces during WW II, couldn't, flat feet I think or something like that. SO he got a job as a welder welding deck cannons on. He welded the FIRST pom pom gun (prototype) on a destroyer in WW II. So as you can see it's in my blood!!!

The local state run college has offered machinist classes in the past at the tech center, man do they have it all!!!!!!!
