Sorry that last pic was so messed up. I forgot [undecided] to resize it from the digital camera. Here's a smaller easier to open pic. We started it under the tarp to make sure it would run before untarping it. It started no problem.

Last pic I promise. This is the broadside view of the M35A2 with me trying to turn the big hoss around. Manual steerin is a serious pain with those big ol' tires and all that weight. It's not bad when you are rolling though. Enjoy.

Re:Military vehicles message board
The bumper numbers were the unit designation as well as the truck ID. You can buy these trucks via internet auction at GovLiquidation or from private sellers or companies like Joe Young Military Equipment. I paid $1000 for mine and then have since put about $600 in it. I'll get around to repainting it one of these days. You can still see the original star on the hood and the serial numbers under the tan paint. I would be glad to help you find one. Let me know.<br>Chris

Somewhere I have the service manuals for the M35 from about 1966. They got into my foot locker when I seperated in '67

A semi or something equivelant. Those Big Cam motors where stout! To bad Cummins had to do away with them. Not too long ago, a military wrecker came in with a 400 Big Cam and an 18spd. Caterpillar automatic. Took air to shift. Very nice looking unit.

The NHC250 Cummins found in the 800 series trucks is a hoss too. It's NA though, so no whistle from under the hood. The exhaust barks like a son-of-a-gun though!
