MERRY CHRISTmas time
hey i just had an interesting end to a phone conversation the other day with a company we do business with, the lady politely but forcefully said "season's greetings" to which i replied "merry christmas to you too". her voice lit up and she said thank you so much, we're not supposed to say that to customers, it's really nice to hear.

I had a funny conversation with a guy about Christmas trees. He called them Honnika bushes.
What I find amazing is people that don't believe in Jesus Christ get all worked up about celibrating his birthday! It's all about getting something I guess.

That because Christmas isn't about Christ anymore, its about how much stuff you can get, and I for one find it really sad. On the other hand, to all of the people I've had the pleasure of chatting with on this site, Merry Christmas, and may the only coal you get come from your tailpipe!

It is kind of sad were the world is going now. You cannot even say what you want anymore with out some wacko saying he was offended. Why don't they just be tollerent? It kind of gets to me when this happens.

No, no...you can say what you want....as long as it isn't Merry Christmas. Happy Kwanzaa or Happy Hanukah are perfectly acceptable. Just don't mention anything with the word Christ in it. After all tolerance appears to be a one-way street.

What's pathetic is I saw on the news the other day that Boston is calling it a "Holiday Tree" instead of a Christmas Tree!
and here's what the logger said that cut it down:
"The Nova Scotia logger who cut down the 48-foot (14-meter) tree was indignant and said he would not have donated the tree if he had known of the name change.
"I'd have cut it down and put it through the chipper," Donnie Hatt told a Canadian newspaper. "If they decide it should be a holiday tree, I'll tell them to send it back. If it was a holiday tree, you might as well put it up at Easter."

It's so lame to not mention Christ around Christmas.
Even G.W and the whitehouse don't reference Jesus in their recently mailed X-mas cards.
Good thing we already knew how dumb they are at the whithouse.
Matter of fact, how DARE he not mention the Lord? It's on the tip of his tounge any other time?
Jerk.

This has been a developing situation in our country for the past fifteen years. I am thankful that people are standing up and excercising thier own freedom of speech to say what we mean. As for me - just read my signature...

i do agree that people are starting to stand up for their freedoms. the thing that bugs me the most is the stupid minority of people that get all offended at rude things (like 'merry christmas' or praying for safety at a football game) that are getting the press coverage and people like the ACLU that back those idiots in lawsuits. with crap like that it's seriously easier to get sued for saying "merry christmas" than "%*$* you".

I get offended when people call it a "Holiday Season." Sorry if it offends you, but if we took Christ out of it all, we would all be saying "Merry Mas."
God Bless and hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS.
