Glad to hear the Floridian got good news from the Doc. The pool sounds quite relaxing....take a few laps for me. More nice weather today. Yard is done, Round-Up is sprayed, weeds pulled......now I get to go purchase more grass and pavestones for the area around the new deck. If it ain't one thing it's another.....oh, the joys of home ownership!!!

Heidi, it's nice to see you poking your head in here again. Gotta go. Ya'll have a good'urn.

Evening all. Finally decided to call it a day. Pool is full but I will wait until the morning to treat it and fire it up. Can't wait. Did try out the air jet for the jaccuzzi - - - I did good. Sorta scary drilling holes in your nice new EXPENSIVE coating on your pool and J hoping you are going to hit the buried air pipe in the concrete. First time I ever did that and no one around to hit me on the head and say "no, not there ya big dummy." But all holes had air coming out - - hey, I am soooo good. ...........

They are also associated with short blood supply hence the PET scan. All looks good there. I know a lot of people have them, but doc said the typical crossover point is about 2500 per day. That is about 100 per hour or about 1.5 per minute. I am having five to ten skips per minute at times in the day. My normal heartrate is all ready quite slow which is good. But take a 50 heart rate and drop 5 to 10 skips out and you don't have a lot left. Makes you quite dizzy. Oh well, we will see what the new guy has to say this week.

Well, she must know I am on talking with you guys - - she is calling me for supper again. Sooooo, see ya later.

Bob

I get the weekend off. Only have 50 acres left to plant. Another planter is going over to get the other 70. Still too wet, so we are waiting til Monday.
Not sure what I am going to do with 2 days off. Go get the passenger mirror put in the Amigo for one. After that? good question. Maybe actually sleep.

OKC was hit by another tornado today...

The way the weatherheads have been missing the forecasts, I didn't put much stock in it when they said it would be a busy season. I really never imagined they meant it would all be in OKC either...

Got home yesterday to a job unfinished on the pool. ................Mercy guys - - I would love to grab whomever it was and ask him if he would accept what he did if he had paid a lot of money to have it done. So, had to turn off the water so I could get down in there and finish his job. ...........................................Very disappointing. That puts me two days behind and we leave in two weeks and I have a lot of stuff to do without this. Had it all planned by the day - - just blew that one. Oh well, don't stress out Bob - - must be a reason for it all. Maybe to teach me patience - - - NO, I DON'T HAVE TIME TO LEARN ABOUT PATIENCE. NO MOMMY, LEAVE ME ALONE...............

OK, grabbing my ph00 and out of here. Ya'll be good.

Bob
Bob, ask that doctor what he's bought lately. Glad the test results weren't bad.

They have a new guy? I watched it once or twice but never made any connection.

It's Saturday. June 1st.

1774 - The British government ordered the Port of Boston closed.

1792 - Kentucky became the 15th state of the U.S.

1796 - Tennessee became the 16th state of the U.S.

1861 - The first skirmish of the U.S. Civil War took place at the Fairfax Court House, Virginia.

1915 - Germany conducted the first zeppelin air raid over England.

1921 - A race riot erupted in Tulsa, OKlahoma. 85 people were killed.

1939 - The Douglas DC-4 made its first passenger flight from Chicago to New York.

1941 - The German Army completed the capture of Crete as the Allied evacuation ended.

1942 - The U.S. began sending Lend-Lease materials to the Soviet Union.

1943 - During World War II, Germans shot down a civilian flight from Lisbon to London.

1944 - The French resistance was warned by a coded message from the British that the D-Day invasion was imminent.

1961 - Radio listeners in New York, California, and Illinois were introduced to FM multiplex stereo broadcasting. A year later the FCC made this a standard.

1963 - Governor George Wallace vowed to defy an injunction that ordered the integration of the University of Alabama.

1980 - Cable News Network (CNN) made its debut as the first all-news station.

2008 - The Phoenix Mars Lander became the first NASA spacecraft to scoop Martian soil.

2009 - General Motors filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. The filing made GM the largest U.S. industrial company to enter bankruptcy protection.

Today's thought:
If I had a dollar for everytime someone told me to grow up, I could build a really awesome tree house!

C0ffee's on, the regular nasty stuff. Bob didn't even wanna TRY my special cardiac coffee yesterday, so nothing special for HIM! He don't 'preesheeate' me!

NO NO, wrong. I preesheeate you............ ........ had some yesterday later in the day. It was still good. Sorta like being married - - forgot to tell you we all still luv ya. YEH. Oh, hugs all around. YEH. Now, isn't that nice? ............

OK, made coffee. Just came in from the lanai trying to get the pump/filter up and running. Won't work. Looked around - - stuff is laying on the ground behind the heater that is supposed to be hooked up to the valves. The switch at jaccuzzi side will not work so can't turn off the jac, so can't get the filter working. DUH. Coating guys say get the filter running and chemical is as soon as possible - - don't let it sit. OK, I WILL. HELP. GGRRRR..........................Yeh, I know - - - more PVS's. LOL

Grabbing my ph00 and out of here - - go out in the lanai, wait for a phone call and pout. ............

JWBM - hope you are on a good path to recovery. If you are going to have to spend some time convalescing, go online and buy a subscription to 'Living Without'. It is an amazing magazine about living gluten-free. The magazine is published in hardcopy every two months but as soon you buy a subscription to the magazine you get full access to all of their online archives. DW has gotten some amazing gf recipes from them. Do you still have DW's email? If not, let me know and I will PM you with it. She has recipes for everything from chicken wings, to mac and cheese all the way up a most awesome chocolate cake that are all gf.

Let us know what you want.
