Hey, j_martin, didn't you once tell me how to make a governor for my 5.9 so it would keep a constant 1800 RPM's regardless of load? Or maybe I'm thinking it was someone else.
and you think you had a headache.....

Isn't the throttle lever setting actually the governor speed setting? You should be able to install a weaker governor spring to limit top engine speed, then modify it with your throttle stop.

If that isn't sensitive enough, you'll have to rig a belt drive governor.

G'day. Tuesday morning where I am, Monday evening where most of youse is at.

Just a quick fly by to say that I have been thinking about all the sacrifices that have been made by American men and women to ensure that me as a non American have the freedom I have today. I do not take what I have for granted and am very grateful that in the past the bad guys and countries have been pushed back and made America the great country it became. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I salute all of you, especially those in the forces.

Sad to see how your leaders are now destroying what was so valiantly built up.

Tim, agree 100% with you. Evening all. I'm hoping this Memorial Day finds you all in good health and enjoying the freedoms so many other have sacrificed for. Had to replace the water heater yesterday, not happy.

Thanks. Not going too fast, just out there messing around. 8.4s and 8.5s on the eighth. I turned it up a little and my EGTs were going faster than I was, so I left it alone.

Stan, good post.

Mornin. Coffee, scrambled eggs with a little cheese and bacon, along with a nice and rare tuna steak for breakfast. Juice too.

Off to work, I love me a good 3 day weekend

Morning all. Stan, good thoughts and agree with you - - we are heading down the sewer right now and another three years of this?????...........................God help us. Well, He will if we remember who He is.

MH - - really good to see your old puss on here again - - we missed you.

Grabbing some breaky and outside for another day of work. Pool surface gang is due here today - - maybe the third try is a charm - - I want this over with. Bought some really neat and beautiful wicker furniture for the lanai yesterday - - found a great Memorial day sale at Sears - - they have the best selection of patio furniture around without paying $10K for it. The good stuff is expensive - - OUCH.

Ph00 is good - - YEH. .............

Bob

Gotcha! Here's the number: 44427907

Morning all.

It is Tuesday, May 28th.

1774 - The First Continental Congress convened in Virginia.

1863 - The first black regiment left Boston to fight in the U.S. Civil War.

1928 - Chrysler Corporation merged with Dodge Brothers, Inc.

1937 - U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt pushed a button in Washington, DC, signaling that vehicular traffic could cross the newly opened Golden Gate Bridge in California.

1940 - During World War II, Belgium surrendered to Germany.

1977 - Fire raced through the Beverly Hills Supper Club in Southgate, KY. 165 people were killed.

1987 - Mathias Rust, a 19-year-old West German pilot, landed a private plane in Moscow's Red Square after evading Soviet air defenses. He was released August 3, 1988.

1996 - U.S. President Clinton's former business partners in the Whitewater land deal were convicted of fraud.

1998 - Dr. Susan Terebey discovered a planet outside of our solar system with the use of photos taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.

Today's thought:
If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.

The Hat already has the c0ffee situation under control, and it's nice an' strong!

Good day to all.
Hope yer wk is a good one.
Changes are in order here in my world. I hope and Pray the choices and moves I'm going to make turn out positive. Kind of vague I know. However, it's how it is right now.

I concocted a 'special' phoo.

I am with you on the changes. NO quick moves.

As for this ph00 mess - - - I am just going to have to come up there, take you down and sit on you and poor your mess down your throat. Then, get up and run like mad..........................................Then we will go fishing together and catch up on "stuff."

Pool is no longer grey concrete - - new pebble tec coating is on. Acid wash it in the morning and put everything back together and start putting water in. Thought it would never happen. Slowly getting things put back together. Can't wait to cook my first meal out there. Have a party. Steaks an all the trimmings - - that will be fun. Paver seal goes on Friday.

NOPE, wrong - - it is "POOR" for big boy. Pour is too gentle.

Hey, this weekend is perfect. Nothing will be done - - - yet. Furniture will not be delivered - - - - yet. Planting not done - - - - yet. NO equipment installed - - - - yet. Yeh, this weekend is perfect. (I wish)

Nuther train wreck - - what is going on in our country. Fires in California - - - again - - course that is quite normal for them. More tornadoes and rough weather today. Horrors.
