Finding a good doctor? yes it seems a joke these days. My possible problems unfortunatly not I fear.
Crazy as it seems, several friends have had better luck diagnosing their medical problems through reading books or magazines then having the doctor test for it to find its whats wrong with them. It seems this area is predominantly run by unexpeiranced staff or far to shorthanded. Typically with my set up it can take up to 6 weeks to get an appointment to see my regular physician, or several months for a dentist appt.
Guess I shouldent complain from what I hear in Canada with the gov medical situation.

Just go HERE, type in your symptoms and ask any questions you might have and you'll have answers within 24 hours.

Heck, here in Houston, the HMO's have finally found another way to save money....They have started using doc's that specialize in OB/GYN and Proctology....
Now a couple can go to see doc together after woman is thru the man jumps up on table and Doc just says "Roll over"......

I've heard it said that by the time a person reaches his 40th birthday, he should be his own best doctor. By then you should know what makes you sick, what you've done to make things worse and what it takes to make things better. A smart guy with a stupid doctor will outlast a stupid guy with a smart doctor (usually).

If you are still seeing a doctor thank your lucky stars. These days most clinics seem to be screening you with a physicians assistant.

Triplenickel, I was working with some folks from the south eastern reigon ( sorry I dont know my geography in Canada) They mentioned the government provided medical program was tough going. They commented that you would most likely die from a ailment before you were able to see a doc or get surgery performed. Mind you, this was from another source. apoligize if im way off here.
In the mean while thanks for all the info, Heck im applying for my MD lisc soon.Heck, just like being a plumber except the broken pipes leak red water. I think Im over qualified from all the readin ive done lately.
