With the old job, are you confident you'll have job security under the new owner? They may have plans to clean house. I wouldn't fret about the feelings of your current employer since they were a little too "optimistic" about the income you'd get from them...

Thanks Torkmnstr. I just got back from interviewing with them, they do event marketing for a certain 3/4ton+ truck company that I'm afraid to mention on this site. They have 2 different positions, CDL driver and assistant, they said that I could start as an assistant and when I have a CDL I automatically go to driver status. So the only downsides I have for it is it's about 45 minutes away (but I don't think I'll be transiting very much, we'd be on the road a lot) and there is the chance that I don't get it and my roommate/landlord would like to know asap if I'm staying or going back to Big Spring.
DodgeCowboy, you need to just come down here.

The new owner was the one who approached me asking me if I would come aboard as the new manager since she wants to do the in store stuff like the nick knack stuff and I would be in charge of all the cattle, tack, hauling freight, and hauling hay. She said she wants some one that can hit the ground running and since I have been there darn near six years they want me to be the new head chesse and have my name on the business card along with hers. I have pretty much ran the whole store any ways so it would mean that I would simply come in side most of the time and be at the desk doing orders and stuff like that nature and on the road hauling stuff. The job I am working at now I hired on knowing that for at least 6 months I would be making way less knowing that in 6 months I was goin to be making about 1.00 dollar more and possibly more. When six months showed up they never gave me the raise and said I was miss led and sorry about the mix up. and it has taken tell now that they give me a raise and I am now makin the same I was at the old job with about 6 hours less on my pay checks

I'm trying for it, but it's up to them. They were wanting full time all year around employees, they act like they would have to make an exception for me, but they also sounded like they would make the exception, so who knows.

Anybody gives you any trouble you send them to me, I always did have a way with those Officers that went around me to hassle my men I had a Full Bird tell a LT to stay the heck out of my area if he didn't like my lip

Seriously the guy was in the wrong AO and had no right jumping on two of my E6's, if he had a problem he should have brought it to me so I could jump on them

Uh......hold your breath! The kit doesn't contain donuts, they are user supplied, go back and read the directions. Just get alother one and tape it on. It's already starting, "donut withdrawals". First thing that happens is you start to blame everybody else for what's not going right. Bad Cin, no donut!

Naw, I'm just getting pulled in a lot of different directions. My old unit is po'd that I'm leaving, and they gave me a hard time while I was checking out. That got me behind with all the SDI paperwork...

Buddy, those are probably fighting words... careful. Cindy is really nice, but I'd bet that she'd hit you on the head with a cast iron skilit when you turn around...

Nite nite, DTR...

Jeeeeeeeze it's EARLY.

Thank goodness the coffee is ready.
Two cups just to get ONE eye all the way open.
On days like this I miss the janitor's coffee (mud).

Today is my Friday.
Still cool, and cloudy here but the forecast is for good weather just around the corner.

Y'all stay safe
