Morning all sun is up and day is going to be great. Double digits again, sure is hard to take after this long cold winter.. Yea right!!!

Except that yesterday at work they asked me to work today, only for a couple of hours which is ok I guess. All pensionable hours is the way you have to look at it.

Pistol I can so relate to your situation. Mine is 21yrs he's for sale or give away also. Maybe Hat could take a two for one .

Another B-Day in the Hat family, congrats on that one. Bring some cake for Cin since she swore off the jelly filled.

Have fun and drive safe.

Cool Scared to Come In Here- army folks always look for some intelligence, sign of life...

MADHAT! whew, life in a whirlwind inside your place and out! hold the family close, get that mental attitude in readiness- suck it up, buttercup! I'll send you funny postcards if you PM me the address....you carry all DTR finest with you, pal!

MikeyB and T Boe, Dodgecowboy! good to hear from ya- funny posts - glad you could step through the marine 'load' in here

Hey CIN! same ol' thing here; luckily- never been in to doughnuts, cake, coffee, smoking, alcohol or I would be a politician

TRAD, great note! yeah, we all need a little of that!

CHAIKWA buddy! I called last night, you answered the phone. too many diesel fumes or what, dude? Have a safe trip to the convention AND have some fun! I will be there WITH your pup Sunday afternoon.....working on something special for ya.

DIESELSTORM, should change the name to life storm, pal! you got a lot going on!! good work ethic though- be proud! not too much of that going on right now...

Pistol, SR and others: I have an 18 y.o. that decided college was not for him, he wants to 'work with his hands, outdoors' sooooooooo anyone need a woodsplitter? He has been to four countries- can I send him to the Peace corps too??? I want a programmable son, I really do.....

off to shovel snow, clean up Harley oil spots, ponder my existence or do laundry...better keep those tasks seperate....

If I could figure out how to do the hat cam, I'd be all over it. That would be an interesting thing... Still need to figure out how to download movies off my digital camera from home... Stupid rednecks...

I'll take whatever you got. Just get them to PI, and I'll take care of the rest. I'll send Cin some smashed cake after the baby gets done with it! I decided to go with cupcakes, less mess...

Funny, you can get up early and go play, but you've been playing hookey from school...

That's 10 demerits for being late... we'll talk about the punishment later...
21st? Mine or his? I'll re-live a 21st birthday party...

Had a little wind this morning... neighbor lost his shed. Heard a loud commotion, stuck my head out the back door, seen his shed was gone, and hollered for him. We tool all the crap that was in it and put it elsewhere, and tore down the shed before it took out anything else.

t-boe, for you, enjoy, might have to share

Wannabe, Pistol, Shortround, and others with problem children, or people, Shirles is 60 years old

totallyrad, that sounds like a nice evening with the church friends. Thanks for sharing. Gives me something to think about.

Chaikwa, you can handle the breakroom, you do a great job, Firstone in turn on the coffee. If it gets too big a mess, just run one of your D-9 Cats or what ever you have thru the place.

CIN, just got some angle food cake with strawberrys and coolwhip I put on top.

Withi the wee ones b'days and the mess, just put them on the floor, the dog or cat will lick them clean.

MikeyB hope your 14 year old daughter is a little neater by now. One of my daughters took a long time before she was not a messy eater.

Time to get the kidletts ready to go to a park, run run run, wear yourselfs out. Then walk to the drug store for wifes perscriptions, and a ink cartride for her printer at work.

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

The web we weave

Hehehe.

Hi All!! Hat,first off What kind of punishment do 10 demerits get?

Wanna,I hardly even drink,I don't smoke, I give up the donuts.People are asking to much from me .They want me to give up the chocolate now .

Davey, Now make sure you don't fill the Angel food cake up with raspberry filling and put strawberries on top . Just throw in the whole bucket of coolwhip I could eat that by itself.

Anytime I have to make a pumpkin pie I have to buy 2 things of coolwhip.hehehe.Now they have all kinds of flavors yummy.

Thanks dssimecek. Cin, no need to give up the chocolate. Everyone needs some sweets every now and again. My mom used to put extra tubs of coolwhip in the chest freezer. I got in trouble for stealing one and eating the whole thing. She found the empty container under my bed.

She just yelled at me. She was looking for it a few days earlier for a dessert she made and couldn't find it. Most of us need to give things up to set good examples. I gave up smoking when my first son was born. A good thing too. He copies everything I do. It's funny, but that can be a bad thing sometimes!

Cin, this is for you!

As most of you know, Cin's doctor has ordered her to stay away from the donuts, especially the raspberry ones. I've been pondering this as many of us may face the same life altering decision some day. According to Google, there just aren't any local chapters of the D.E.A.(Donut Eaters Anonymous) in her area so I searched the internet and found a nifty little kit for her to help cut back on her donut addiction. Strangely enough, the company is located right here in Birmingham. For the military minded, the name is right out of your daily grind. It's called EFSOTMDL which means "Engineering from South of the Mason-Dixon Line". It's a complete stop eating donut kit which is guaranteed to work if you follow their simple step by step instructions. They achieve this by helping you allot like they do smokers trying to kick the habit, with the use of a patch. Here are the instructions, with photos;

After opening the package, remove the universal donut patch adhesive master pack.

Next, remove enough adhesive for a one time application. If you're going to put the patch on your arm, make sure you allow a little extra adhesive to cover the donut.

Now, pick the (user supplied) flavor you're craving the most. This one happens to be blueberry. YUM YUM!

Place the flavor of the day onto the adhesive strip. Try to center it up as it's much easier to apply. .

Now, and this can be tricky if you're by yourself, place the completed donut patch on your arm. I preferred it on my upper arm and you'll see why in the next photo. Just a note, try not to let the adhesive strip contact the hair under your arm. It smarts a little when you remove the patch!

As you can see, when properly applied, the donut patch is almost invisible. It just looks like you have some smokes tucked up there.

The effects of the patch were felt almost immediately. After the application, I felt energized and refreshed. A light hearted smile covered my face as I felt like I could conquer the world!

Remember, the patch is guaranteed to keep you off donuts. If you feel like you're slipping and just can't resist the temptation, just place a strip of the adhesive, sans donut, over your mouth. Make sure to secure both ends behind the ears and no donut will be able to be consumed as long as the strip is in place.

Cin, I hope this helps! I've given the nice folks at EFSOTMDL your mailing address and a kit will be arriving at your door step soon.(COD of course) If anyone else wants one, just give them a call at 1-800-NO-DNTS and order your's today, $39.95 plus shipping.

Red face Note: Totally handsome Rad's mustache removal kit

nice smile though, now- even more of it ...OUCH! and to think your wife still thinks you are sane...

Davey- laughed at your elevation wow 85 feet. Dansville, NY airport has 710 and I am at 2100 feet yeah- snow and wind here, what else? my son plans on joining the Army (combat engineers)... with all the new IEDs coming out; his civilian job would be what? working for verizon?
as a parent , what do you do? hope and pray? love em unconditionally at this point I guess...wish I had a manual.

CIN, ya gal; doctors want me to give up stress, wow I was just getting used to constant complaints....wonder if that means I can eat raspberry doughnuts? heheh Tboe and you- my husband ate a whole can of pineapple as a teen 'cause i was hungry'. won't touch anything remotely related since.
cool whip must be exempt.
