i'm here.

sorry about the NAM snafu.

JWBM, tell him to call me if he wants.
the military is STILL the best place in the world to learn to be a man,
and to learn that YOU are accountable for what you do.

CHRISR: i cheated and smoked one...mare being stubborn...BBQ SATURDAY hey, no cheating- you are better than that!

Now that 's a news flash- the Marine not liking the Navy......better swim hard!

THANKS fellers!! yeah he has a good head on up there, but his caboose is missing a gear- maybe my size five will help find it. skinny boy 145 at 6'1" but he can run or swim all day long. yell in his face? he grew up with me, he can deal with it and be soooo stubborn. good info! he will need it REAL SOON!

GEICO/Davey boy! went up North and man, it is beautiful for flight! locally, I will have to send you some pics- I signed up a volunteer at a Historic airplane group (like having 200 grandpas!)in Geneseo, NY. bi plane coming in July 1st and warbirds (45 or so) for an airshow July 7-15th. great guys! met two pilots just at the gun shop- tales were fascinating and the gleam in their eyes was such a joy to see! one guy was a glider pilot.
bought a ticket for my husband to do the dogfight thing. pilots get up and set ya down- you fly in between. shhh it's a surprise! will do pics.
snow in the hills here, but beautiful below 1000 feet.

life transport of pup to Michigan commences Sunday 0500AM......car got all fixed (chickendout on the coil spring stuff) and has new underwear on (ball joints, suspension arms, new shocks, new fuel filter when the coil spring hitched the loose shock and sent it skyward- and these were the pros that worked on it! they even had to make a special part to press the ball joints)

life is good! hope all you DTR diesel drinkers get your fill!

evenin all.

thought i would stop in before i hit the sack.

nother day of fun at the house, today i was taping ceilings and outside digging up plants and cleaning the flower beds out.

my dad accepted a job. working for a place here in Ohio. so no moving to IL.

still no job for me yet. just applied for 2 more. i think the saftey violatons (the reason i was let go) i had at my last job were more detrimental than i thought.

2 more days till i can get back to my truck, i cant wait.

well thats all for now.

I know what you mean about having 1,000 grandpas. Flyin's & warbirds will do that, mostly old guys. You know what they say about pilots.... There are old pilots & there are bold pilots, but there are no old & bold pilots.

I'm headed to Laramie, WY at 0500 to help my oldest daughter look for a house. Should be a tad bumpy according to flight services. Good thing I don't get air sick! I hate bumpy air. Makes ya mad when things start to levitate around the cockpit.

Your hubby will love the dog flight thing. Stick time in an old iron plane is a hoot!

Where is everyone? Usually a few drunks stop in on their way home from the bar.

Morinin all! is good. Who made it this am?? Church workday today at noontime. Watching little kiddo's for Mom and Dad.

Yea Storm, I know somewhat how you feel. At the dist warehouse any saftey violations get tacked on to a record and they let employers know it. Some guys got fired for doing stupid stuff.

Hey Lizard, didn't know you could look out that greenhouse.

Where Janitor?? Usually he beats me to these posts.

Long week. Work decided to drop a new system on us. Still didn't get all the bugs worked out yet.

Smoked a Superchared Ponny Bonny.

Muffins are done gotta go eat.

Morning all!!!!

Been watching the mare at night , and letting her out in the morning, because horses just about NEVER have their foals during the day.. early early morning or early night is the usual time, and this mare has always foaled at 2200 hours....

Went out this am, let her out around 0700. Started chores and was in the pen working until 0900 and left.
Came back out at 0915 and found that the mare had heard about the BBQ plans, and decided to thwart them by doing this:

Chris, nice!! My last foal did the same thing. He started life stubborn and he hasn't changed a bit.

Time for the first halter and a blanket. What am I telling you this for, you already know it.

(I'll sell you mine) Around these parts, horse $$ is horrible. Good luck with selling.

I'm back for a minute, the rodeo finished last night at 1:30. My partner and I were 6.5 but broke the barrier, so 16.5, ahh well, we both roped good so it was a decient way to end the year and possibly my college rodeo carrier. (not rodeoing next semester). So got home at 2am, left for the rodeo by 8am, and the short round starts at 6:30. Loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggg weekend, but I'm feeling good about myself, I'm giving it my all (my body doesn't feel as good about myself though). I warned this morning that I might need an extra crew member to keep me upright while I ran the chute.
What's worse is if I'm not stumbling tonight from being tired I'm probably going to go to an after party.

Evening, all. GOOD day today. Nothing bad happened here at work, very sad news about the blue angel that crashed today. It was pretty close to my house. Mile or so.
Recruits are doing good, they are all tucked in for the night. I'm swiming in piles of paperwork, and I'll be lucky to get 3-4 winks tonight. Not as bad being a SDI...

See yall later. I'll be around for a bit...
