Marine Corps DTR Breakroom 15-21 April, Jarhead Joe and Navy donuts...

Last week among the living. Start this week with pick-up training, then I'll be a distant memory on the 21st.
Hope this week is a great one for everyone!

Evenin' all

Hat thanks for opening the breakroom.

Good start for a late evening snack. Now Hat your going back to work soon, how is the voice? They gonna be able to hear you LOUD and CLEAR? You gonna poke you head in here after the 21st?

Houston, 54*F overcast. Wind out of the northwest at 25MPH, gusts to 30MPH, dewpoint 38, windchill 48, visabilty 10 miles.

Dodgecowboy, it should still be some daylight where your at.

Was working on a post here last night for the breakroom, Computer a bit funky with the keyboard, and it all disapeard, so went to bed. Didn't get much time today on here.

ShortRound, from your last weeks post, my wife has the same problem with a new hire. Don't follow instructions, takes shortcuts and don't has to be told several times how to do things. Wife not happy. She is looking for a replacement. She will be going up to Dallas for a few days this week for work.
If it not to windy and rainy I'll wash the truck tomorrow and look it over. Shovel out the back floor from the kidletts riding in there.

Take care and be safe out there.

Just fabricating some coffee to the maids standards, go back to sleep. A haqmmer is the only way I know to break the creosote off the bottom of the pot and get it back in the filter. Cold and fishless yesterday. Buddy's dad got one though. Gonna try again tonight. Kaley got a a little swim time in though.

Hmmmmmmm .... I have a 19 year old son that matches that descriptionto a T. Anyone care to adopt ??? He will be headed to Job Corps soon to take up welding and hopefully figger out this "LIFE" stuff that mom & dad keep forcing on him !! We are sooooooo stupid and overbearing right now .

All the rain and clouds are gone and the sky is gorgeous !! Gonna go fix breakfast for the crew and go outside to find something to do for part of the day. Got some plumbing to do in Mrs. Pistol's kitchen ... that's todays goal to accomplish.

Cheers,
PISTOL

Great, I got a request then. Can you teach the Fords to not "pass gas" in the garage? Their explosive backside's have ruined all the paneling and the fire department has said their not coming back again! If you do good with them I've got a Harley that needs to learn to NOT mark it's territory every time we stop! Thanks for opening up last night, I'malittleanxious hat. Maybe the name change will discourage some of the riff-raff from showing up. For some reason that scene from "Groundhog Day" keeps popping into my head. You know, the one where the insurance salesman keeps stopping Bill Murry and has the annoying habit of saying "If I'm right I'm right".

The wife and I had a wonderful evening yesterday. A friend from church was throwing a party for his wife's 40th. When they were married about 21 years ago he hadn't been saved and was a very colorful person. That all changed about 10 years ago. As a surprise gift to her, he got on one knee and proposed to her last night. He also had arranged for her brother, who is a minister, to re-new their vows. He really put allot of work into the whole shebang and it was very uplifting for us. Sorry for rambling this early, just wanted to share, it was pretty cool.

Madhat can probably train your Harley, but the Fords are a lost cause.

No worries, even though I jacked it up... you know Marines. Lock us in a padded room with2 ball berrings, and we'd lose one and break the other! They'll hear me, not worried about that. I'll be able to poke my head in every so often. I'll turn the coffee on a lot and turn the lights off a lot, too.

I'm a Parris Island Senoir Drill Instructor, not a magician!

Wife got trashed last night, I stayed sober. Now we have the bad weather siren going off near the house, I hope it's a tornado and it takes the trailer out! Bout to go make an egg or two, and help the wife clean the house, we have the baby's 1st birthday party this afternoon.

You keep your head down hat, that stuff came through Alabama yesterday and some of it was pretty rough. There have been a few tornadoes spawned by that system. Allot of tornado warnings in SC right now. Get some recruits to re-dig that "fighting position" in the front yard.

Today is my daughter's 14th birthday.
Fixed the scoot yesterday. Last time I will ever try to change manifold gaskets with the fuel tanks still on. Sounds and runs good now. Time to sell it and buy a Ducati. Shhhhh, don't tell the wife.

Make sure to strip that baby to just a diaper before the cake. We made that mistake with our first. Frosting got everywhere! In his hair, on his clothes, the floor, the dog, the cat. Just have a bath ready.

Wow, the breakroom without Madhat... I can't remember what this place was like without ya. I can make the coffee and find some donuts, but there's NO way I'm gonna be able to keep this group in line. Not even gonna try. Maybe you could wear a wireless Hat-Cam so you'll have a constant presence!

Beautiful day here. Sunny, warm and almost wind-less. Now I gotta figure out what to do with myself. I hafta get the monthly newsletter for the state fire instructors group put together and mailed, but after that maybe I'll just go sit under the tree and take a nice long nap!

One week and a coupla days and the new puppy should be here! Altho, we haven't seen a lot of JWBM... hopefully she hasn't become TOO attached to the little guy and dog-napped him!

Everyone have a great Sunday!

chaikwa.
