Well not what you would consider "mans best friend" but for him to let me do this and come walking over to me in the fence just about everytime I go in....he's my bud. He'll be two in December, kids wanted to keep all the goats, but I said they are for sale and we'll keep one, so after some de-balling he is our only pet goat.
and our goat that plays dead.....brown sugar, no really, she's not dead..

That's a fine looking wether/ soon-to-be-wether there!
What breed? Ear's look like they got a splash of Nubian, but that color seems to be Spanish... Never seen a Nubian that square, either. Boer/ Spanish? Boer/ Nubian/ Spanish? Them shoulders look tastey!

His daddy had some boer in him and was the same color with some different markings. His mixed combo of who knows what. Can't eat him, he had a knee joint problem last year and we had to give him some shots in his keester. I think it was some sort of arthritis. Now he's got pneumonia, back on some more drugs, got some money tied up into him, more than what we got tied up into our Great Pyrennes!! Gonna try and find a good boer at auction for the dinner table though I'm gonna try and get a pic of his mama in my gallery, she is easily 150lbs, big fatty with her sides hangin out. I'd say she was pregnant if I did not know better and since the one above is the only billy, kinda He ain't done it!

Here's Buck & Tye's Webpage. We've had Buck since he was 7 weeks old an Tye came into the family about a year and a half later at 6 weeks.
