Thanks to everyone, yes its hard to turn around and not see her sometimes, just a pain in the Edit but just full of love and play someone to talk to and the odd part she new what you where saying. You could ask her to pickup her toy and put it in the house and she would pickup from the yard and drop it on the door step ,just like a kid and tell her in the house and pick it up again and drop on the other side of the door just had to laugh. And yes I am looking again trying to find another one from the same lineage.

Well, that makes more sense to me now...
You had a collie ? Smarter than an average high school kid, from my experience..
My dog was found by a collie that used to ride around in a garbage truck, and stopped his owner (the rig's driver) from uploading the dumpster into the trucks compression bin. He shut down the rig, opened up his door, and that dog jumped into the dumpster without hesitation. 6 puppies in there that were discarded as trash. That dog was awesome, and my Moe-mo was one of them in the box. That Collie changed my life...
Hoping that in your future efforts with your new doggie(s), you create some sort of containment system / procedures so this tragedy can't happen again. My sister in law lives in Oregon, and they've had horrible experiences living next to a road that has a 40MPH speed limit. She's had nothing but mastiffs, and lost 3 of them to traffic in front of the house. They were all full grown, and killed by passing motorists because they thought the dogs knew better. Apparently, not....
After the 3rd death, she finally put up a #@%$$ FENCE......

DB, my heartfelt condolences and prayers . We list our Greta just a little while back, and our border collie Daisey is very old and we are trying to brace for her departure . There is nothing so absolute as the love of a dog, and it leaves a big hole when they're gone.

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!

Chester had a few sly moves like that. You can't help but grin.
The fun part is they never stopped trying to get away with stuff, no matter how "mature" they got.

My Brother said getting a new wife to replace his dog helped with the hurt a little. Not as loyal and all that but at least this wife will go out and get the paper.
Hey, my brother said it, not me!!

I don't know your exact zip code, but it's the thought that counts, I guess...
