I got a good sister story....
Me and my sister are not too terribly close, we did not grow up together, blah, blah, blah. Long and short of it, some punk she was seeing knocked her up, slapped her around, denied the baby, and left. Needless to say, I'm kinda
. Lo and behold, what does this retard do, but enlist in the Marine Corps, (I'm a Drill Instructor), and come to Parris Island! (He knew I am a hat)
STUPID!!! Lets just say that by the time that he left PI, he was about 70 lbs lighter, and started his child support. I love this job.

I don't know what all this complaining is about.
My day started this morning at 7am. I roll out of bed, get dressed, go to chow. I get there, and the bacon is tough.
So I head back to the head shed for the morning meeting, nothing exciting going on today.
I head back to my room, surf DTR a little bit, then get my gear on for the range.
We take a 2 vehicle convoy to the range, nothing exciting like car bombs and nobody fires at us.
So we get to the range and re-BZO our weapons for the hell of it. My shots are all in the black- So i don't even need to mess around with my sights.
So...we continue to do firing dills with the M-4's and pistols, then move on to failure and transition drills, then firing on the move.
Oh ya...did I mention the weather was beautiful and sunny out?
So we ending firing a couple hundred rounds each (5 of us), and start heading back.
Again, no one blows anything up or fires at us on the way back, and we get back to base by 1130.
THAT is a rough day.

Pond scum can be hard to get off your boots but sometimes it's just fun to walk through it! I went to Paris Island to watch a cousin graduate from boot in the 60's. As I recall it was the middle of summer, it was HOT and there was no shade to be found. I don't guess that has changed much. Even as a youngster I thought I was going to melt. Thanks D.I. for all the hard work. Teach'em right so they come back alive.

Yay. We can all relate! My truck got backed into in the walmart parking Lot. I was trying to grab some stuff for my mom, and I come back out and my big bright red red bumped has a big BLACK dent/scratch/paint spot on it. I walked back in and asked what they could do about it...Well it would have been nice if the lady could have responded in english!!!!! I left a little infuriated and now the dealership will be fixing it for a hefty fee. I dont understand people. If I did that I would wait and give the person my info. Oh well. OH and it got door dinged in the student parking lot at school. Gotta love high school parking lots -.- Hope you get your truck fixed soon!
