I guess my buddy's friend that got caught in his mill shouldn't have made it either...he got himself out, crawled to his golf cart and made it to the sofa where his son found him...

Depending on how many employees they have , they may not call under OSHA, tho that's sure No reason to be that careless
That farm had one employee and the fine was for not having a proper dust abatement plan.

They can be a real PIA if the guy is a superman....
You can order them offsite, but then they return with a warrant and can really mess you up with fines and tickets...
Still, the principle idea is good, save a life where you can.
Not sure about private property situations like the one my friend's buddy was involved in...

There are a few types of debarkers. One kind rolls the logs thru a basket style kinda thing that has spikes inside it. I could see someone making it thru that but I have no idea where the rollers that crushed his pelvis would be used. The roller debarkers don't use feed rollers.
I defer to you expertise. Glad the man survived, can't imagine how but glad he did. Hopefully that company instituted some effective change so this can be avoided again.
