Hired!! Does that mean I can fire my coach? Sigh, My life coach says I need to clean the outside windows this weekend. At least she gives me short term goals that are achievable.
Hey, where is Scotty. Last year I sang "O Canada" to him. Figured he would be here early for a repeat performance. I have such a good voice that people routinely ask me to save it for later.

Remember what I did in VN. . . . I used to have anywhere from 5 to 10K# in an open truck. . . . Not cool in a live zone.
I can't say what came to mind. . . I'll get the Chaikwa Ban Hammer

Have not really been around, a lightning quick in and out so not sure what the overall theme is for the break room. My last couple week theme has pretty much been about broken promises, dreams and a whole lot of heart ache.
Have a whole bunch of family and friends coming over later today for a big ol cook out, celebrating Independence day and my oldest's 25th birthday. I expect a good time. If anyone is in the area stop on by, plenty of grub and beer.
Oh yeah Mark, good deal on getting the kids back, have a safe 4th and your still a punk.
Be good peoples,
God Bless the United States of America and all those who serve for her.

Morning all, rise and shine!
Today is Saturday, July 2nd.
On this day in 1776 - Richard Henry Lee’s resolution that the American colonies "are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States" was adopted by the Continental Congress.
1857 - New York City’s first elevated railroad officially opened for business.
1881 - Charles J. Guiteau fatally wounded U.S. President James A. Garfield in Washington, DC.
1926 - The U.S. Congress established the Army Air Corps.
1937 - American aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart disappeared in the Central Pacific during an attempt to fly around the world at the equator.
1939 - At Mount Rushmore, Theodore Roosevelt's face was dedicated.
1944 - American bombers, as part of Operation Gardening, dropped land mines, leaflets and bombs on German-occupied Budapest.
1947 - An object crashed near Roswell, NM. The U.S. Army Air Force insisted it was a weather balloon, but eyewitness accounts led to speculation that it might have been an alien spacecraft.
1961 - Ernest Hemingway shot himself to death at his home in Ketchum, ID.
1964 - U.S. President Johnson signed the "Civil Rights Act of 1964" into law. The act made it illegal in the U.S. to discriminate against others because of their race.
1967 - The U.S. Marine Corps launched Operation Buffalo in response to the North Vietnamese Army's efforts to seize the Marine base at Con Thien.
1976 - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled the death penalty was not inherently cruel or unusual.
1976 - North Vietnam and South Vietnam were reunited.
1980 - U.S. President Jimmy Carter reinstated draft registration for males 18 years of age.
1985 - General Motors announced that it was installing electronic road maps as an option in some of its higher-priced cars.
1994 - Colombian soccer player Andres Escobar was shot to death in Medellin. 10 days earlier he had accidentally scored a goal against his own team in World Cup competition.
1995 - "Forbes" magazine reported that Microsoft's chairman, Bill Gates, was worth $12.9 billion, making him the world's richest man. In 1999, he was worth about $77 billion. The poor guy has lost 64.1 billion in 12 years.
1998 - Cable News Network (CNN) retracted a story that alleged that U.S. commandos had used nerve gas to kill American defectors during the Vietnam War.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Marilyn Monroe had six toes on one foot.
The Saturday special coffee is on. In lieu of the ph00, today we'll be serving Caffeinated Maple-Bacon Lollipops! Don't believe me? Go here; X

Surfs up dudes!!!! Well, at least on the back deck anyway. Don't worry, I do have shorts on this time.
Gotta take the new Road King for a short hop to the DMV while it is still less than 170,000 degrees out. Actually it is about 110 miles to the DMV from here but hey, who's counting right????

That's not good
The coils will brown from useage. But they shouldn't have a noticeable oder.
Now the popping, that is definitely a problem. I guess you may be right about the Xfmr being ready to pop. Wire gauge has some bearing, you have that figured out. What gauge are they using?
I'd say you made a good call. Where did this breaker pop? At the source, or at the Xfmr? You should have branch circuit protection in there. . . In the last 30 years or so, all the manufacturers were doing that. That should at least prevent fires.

Pulling OT is a good way of guaranteeing nice weather for the days you were supposed to be off.
I have a couple of good stories about printing body parts.
The simplest scientific explanation is that you have poltergeist's. They like to clog up electrical wires, burn out light bulbs, mess up your shorts and things of that nature.

There's more money in fixing but a total replacement sounds like the best medicine. It's too bad you like the sound of sizzling bacon, otherwise you might want to move to a different office rather than keeping your backside planted over top of that time bomb burning below you.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that a 70 amp breaker fried on another panel on Thursday.
I do not know what the gauge of wire is on the roof.
