Thanks Ed! I did a search and found it just after I posted. Nice toy, but not for that price. I'll stick to the SW500 and my old IMI Desert Eagle. That would be one heck of a carry piece!

If I need something that big, I just pull out the 12 ga pump.

...a few years ago I read an article about another cartridge that Dick Casull had dreamed up, I think it was the .38 Casull; Fired from a 1911-style frame, it was a .45 necked to shoot .357 bullets (.357), a 124 grain round over 1800 fps (equating to just under 900 ft-lbf of muzzle Gee-Whiz); I would imagine that the muzzle blast would be significant...!!!!

For the BEST 1911/2011 pistol available IMHO do a search for "Dawson Precision", this guy builds some of the tightest frames, sends them out w/ the most crisp/lightest triggers. You do have to pay to play, so dont be offended by his prices, his guns are worth every penny!

The one on the right looks more like a .40 S&W than a .45 ACP if you ask me.

What's the muzzle velocity there?

Those things look like rifle bullets...

2500fps+

They are rifle rounds, seems like the latest craze at gun shows around here.

Unless your a squirrel, I don't think a 17 rimfire is going to do much damage. I shoot coyotes w/ a 17 rem and if its not a head shot, its not dead. (sorry coyote lovers) A 22 mag would be much better at point blank range.
