looking for a special 1911 pistol???
does anyone know if any gun manufacturer makes a .40 s/w 1911 in a 4" or 4.25" with a alloy frame???

Not nowadays. 1911/a1s are simply a design now (whereas back in the good ole days when everyone knew the caliber as .45), and many companies make 9mm, .40, and now even .50 along with the old .45 ACP.

But Para Ordinance offers 1911 and a1 variants in 9mm, .40, and 45ACP. Whether they come with an alloy frame or any of that crap I dont know.
