Woke up with this thick, nasty yellow, sticky mucous in my sinuses. Then when I got up I discovered most of it had drained into my throat. Just a little clearing of my throat produced a paper towel sized glob.

Before I forget, there's applesauce on the counter with the c0ffee and ph00.

Speaking of which, any idea of how the dental prices compare between china and US?((I have a friend who has his teeth worked on in Mexico and likes it).

I was just thinking about surprising my wife by taking her to the disco than to the Howard Johnson’s.
Its been awhile but their large midnight bacon, omelet and waffle platter is great and for $1.99 was a good deal.

The batteries for our TV remote are dead. Will peeing on them help?

As far as I can tell, the prices in Mexico are cheaper. Mind you, the dentist that I am using in China caters mainly to the ex-pats and well heeled Chinese, so her prices are considerably higher than the run of the mill dentists around here. She does not work alone and has many staff around her. Quality of work between what I have had done in China compared to Mexico is comparable.

I wonder who will have the biggest surprise, you or your wife?

Why ask about peeing on the batteries? Just do it and let us all know the result. The best result will be if you do not take the batteries out of the remote, but just take the cover off. Do it while sitting on the living room couch.

Been thinking about that old Pontiac I mentioned and vaguely think that it was a J series.

From now on whenever I have Apple sauce it's going to be served on a paper towel. Yum!

Stan, I think I know which car your talking about with the J in it. It'll take awhile fir me to stroll down that aisle in my brain pan to find it but I'll figure it out asap.

Bark, I peed in a car battery to supply it with a distilled fluid for chemical reaction for charging.

Try what Stan suggested but do it at the disco.
Practice at an electronics store is a good way to fine tune the skill.

Allturd phoo goo on a paper towel by the applesauce.

I am with ya, Stan - - just the picture I needed this morning. YUK. That is what I do in the bathroom with the door shut and the fan running, the TV running real loud and doing the Bark shuffle with my tapdance shoes on so no one can hear me. I sure don't advertise it to the world when I come out. ..........................................................

Oh well, to the rest, good morning - - hope your day is a good one. Think I will pass on the ph00 - - - tummy is not quite settled down after reading the above. ..............

A disco at Howard Johnson's? If anyone else suggested that I'd be surprised! I think peeing on them would work as long as you don't take them out of the remote to do it.

And if one goes out the rest of them gather at the water cooler.

Morning all. Suppose to head back out today. Heavy fog here with rain and freezing rain on the forecast for my destination this evening. Still no word from my boss if we should mob as planned, even after a phone call and text sent to him yesterday. Sent him an email an hour ago and told him to answer the phone because I was leaving early so I wouldn't get caught in the ice driving an unfamiliar truck and trailer.

To anyone with a Galaxy S3 who gets a software update notice this morning I'd advise you to not update at this time. I did and several things about my phone are not working correctly. Contact your carrier before updating.

You win I really was going to have applesauce on my toast this morning but have changed my mind.

Yeah, I'm going to try to find the series of conversations that led up to that. It was pretty good at the time.

Hmmm, maybe it only works when Scotty pees on them. Gotta figure out if it will cost more to mail them to him or to to buy new batteries.

I'm going to have to buy new bell bottoms. These size 29s shrunk. My old fatigue pants from 73 really were a 29 inch waist. Don't know what happened.

Well, off to Homer to help move a boat. Its only 80 or so miles but takes forever. I got volunteered again.

Good morning all y'all,
Boy did I pick a good day to have a day off. Yet another winter storm is plowing its way through southern Alberta. Unfortunately the plan for the day was to get a bunch of Christmas shopping done so that we didn't have to fight the weekend crowds. I guess that plan is going in the recycler

Scott and Bark, it sounds like you are talking about an Oldsmobile 442

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oldsmobile_442
The other one I was thinking of was the Pontiac Beaumont / Chevelle.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acadian_(automobile)

In terms of pedigree, my old snowplow truck is nothing special, just a GMC Sierra 1500 with the little 305 v8. I put tire chains on it for plow duty a couple of years ago and it does an amazing job clearing snow.

Have a good day all y'all. I will be hanging around seeing as my travel plans for the day have been cancelled.

Sean, Mex'dup Stan is describing something close.
I think there was a rare Buick something J model in the same era as the cutlass. I'm trying to remember which one had a gm big block.
I think the Buick was a skylark but I only recall a GS version.
Maybe it wasn' t a gm?

Morning.
More seasonal temperatures in the mid 20s. Still got this freezing fog going on. It's coating everything as bad as freezing rain. Gotta go chisel the ice off the car so the wife can go shopping. Need to find the weed burner.

The Pontiac Grand Prix Model J I had a 70 model with the 389 in it.

I also had a 1970 Firebird and in high school I had a 62 Bonneville Convertible with the big block.

All this talk of old cars and big blocks makes me want to get my 71 duster and 512 started.

You all have a good day time to clean up the house and wrap a few gifts

Now I remember the grand prix! That's the one you always told me was safer for me to ride in the trunk.
I never understood why when you parked you wouldn't let me out...

That was until I heard the (censored) running around in the interior with Velcro sounds.

Evening DTR!

Celebrated my 30th b-day on Sunday. Didn't do anything special, just had a nice dinner with the wife, my parents, and my sis. Got a little snow last night now we have some nice frigid temps. Watching some football tonight, even though I'm a Green Bay fan I'm looking forward to watching the Chicago Bears retiring Coach Ditka's number 89 tonight. He was a good player, coach, and icon in Chicago.

Work is doing good. Wife was sick all last week and she went back to work today and is doing a lot better.
