lookin at getting a cummins, need help...

I'm looking at getting a cummins. Only owned Fords. Want cummins for the easier and cheaper horsepower along with the mileage. I've found a loaded SLT '05 quad cab long bed 6 spd 4x4 with 37k miles. No mods at all. Guy wants $28,500 OBO for it. I've also found an '02 ext. cab long bed 4x4 stick with 83k miles for $18,500. Which would you guys go with if I could possibly get the loan to go through for the '05? I'm heading to college in the Spring so I'll need to get pretty decent mileage and be putting quite a few miles on it. Highway miles. A plus for the '05 is that I already have a BDTD that would work on it.

I would pay 21 cents per mile but you might find a better deal for an 05 be patient.

I'd get the 05. Its an easy year to make some big hp. I'll be buying one (maybe an 06) for the wife shortly.
