Looked at a hemi sport today

Looked at a hemi sport today. Four door with the ground effects package, bad to the bone hood scoop, and all. The only reason it ain't in the driveway is that it was four wheel drive and leather. Don't need 4x4 and don't like leather at all. Was rainy and nasty so didn't want to drive it.
Anybody driven / own one?
How is it?
Looked at the one called "THE RUMBLE BEE" too, it is pretty cute.
Been without my diesel now for near four months and am getting really disgusted.

What's the reason you don't have it back yet? I thought you were getting it back some time ago? Found something worse than the fried piston?

Got it back for a week but it was hard to start and smoked white so much that it would gag you on start up. it's back out there again. I think it's compression problem but that is just my guess becasue it runs awsome when it warms up. Can't deal with that. Had some other things they needed to make right too.

OK we need an intervention here,

Remember just say NO!!!

The first step towards the cure is admiting that you have a problem.

If this keeps up we'll have to move up the Clarmont date.

See my sig, that's what happend when i got PO'd At mine

Dieseldude: I think that the mechanics that work on your truck aren't the best choice...

I drove a 1500 hemi last week, and wasn't too impressed. OK, new body style, quad cab etc. Really quick off the line but then not so impressive. Especially considering the fuel consumption for what power there is. (The salesman did bet that he'd beat me from a rolling start with a trailer... yes he did beat me- he got the fuel through much faster)

Good Luck!

At least I'll get to go to the filling station. WIth the one I've got now, I haven't been there in four months. Starting to get on my nerves a little now.

Think of it this way.

If you had been driving the gasser at the time you broke your Diesel,
would the gasser had survived in anywhere near a salvagable state, as the Diesel did?

Imagine the state of the world if Haulin in Dixie started thinking he should get a gasser.

Chin up and look forward to the day your Dodge is sitting in it's rightful place yet again,
your driveway.
