Look what I got in the mail today...
I'm gonna go back.
If you don't know, I just left Parris Island as a Drill Instructor a year ago this month.
I have not been a whole person since I left...

Kind of hard to argue with that. If you feel you need to go back, then go back. You'd regret it if you didn't and felt you should have. It takes a special kind of person to be a drill instructor. It's not something just anyone can do. Go beat on some new kids Mark.

you were feeling out of sorts anyways- if ya miss it, go for it. get your E7 rank too. what the heck do they call marine E7s? not Platoon sergeants, do they? gosh am I old......let's see staff sergeant, sgt first class, master sergeant, sergeant major and only one- command sergeant major
where's your gunnery sergeant in all this? I can't keep this straight... works better in a club with some adult beverages and a bunch of tales to tell (and NO navy guys!!!)

I guess this is just one more thing you can add to the list of "Madhats kick butt life" list. You are living the life, I am happy for you.
